I can’t say enough wonderful things about our weekend stay at Serenity Pines. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly cozy — exactly what you dream of when planning a mountain escape. The décor struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, with thoughtful touches everywhere: plush blankets, a fully stocked kitchen, and even ample seating for our movie night in. The location was unbeatable — tucked among towering pines, quiet enough to feel worlds away, yet conveniently close to everything we needed. We spent the day at the lake playing, swimming and breathing in that fresh mountain air. It felt peaceful, and restorative even for a busy summer weekend. Our hosts were incredible, too — warm, welcoming, and quick to respond with helpful local tips that made our stay even better. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of care into making this cabin feel like home. If you’re looking for a serene, comfortable, and memorable getaway in the Sierra Nevada mountains, this cabin in Long Barn is truly a dream. We can’t wait to come back — next time for even longer!

We had the best stay!! The cabin is so beautifully done with such attention to detail. We felt so comfortable and right at home. Every morning and night we took a walk around the neighborhood and it was so nice. We ate most meals at the cabin and there was everything we needed. The lake was so nice and easy to get to from the cabin. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic family vacation at this charming cabin! It was the perfect getaway for us and our young children. The spacious living area was cozy and inviting, ideal for games and movie nights.The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and the kids enjoyed having plenty of space to play. We all slept wonderfully in the comfortable king-size beds, making it easy to unwind after a day of family fun.While we mostly stayed indoors, the peaceful surroundings were perfect for quality bonding time. Overall, this cabin was a wonderful choice for families, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend it!
I just got back from an amazing vacation, and I can't help but share my experience! The location was perfect—right off Highway 108, which made it a short drive to all the local attractions. Plus, it was within walking distance to ice skating at the Long Barn Lodge, making it so convenient to explore everything the area has to offer. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The open living area was stylish and included everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and a comfy living room where we could wind down and relax. And oh my gosh, the king-size beds were incredible! They were so comfortable that I had the best sleep after our long days of exploring. Overall, this place was fantastic! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy stay with all the comforts of home. I can't wait to come back!
